Hidden feature of Gmail that everyone should know

Gmail has the feature you must use because copying an entire chain of messages after your reply doesn’t make sense when people scroll down to see all the messages chained one after other. So providing only the snippet that you are actually replying to will make sense. Follow the steps below:

1. Select the text you are replying to in Gmail.

2. Hit the reply button.

3. Only the selected text will be quoted. Reply at will.

This feature would be common in all mail programs, but most people don’t know it exists in Gmail too. So people, please don’t forget to try this feature when you use Gmail.
